Cath Lab Medical Director, HealthCare Corporation of St-John's
Dr Jean Fajadet, Dr Paulo Rubino
These unique, innovative workshops are based on live cases designed for physicians with a specific interest in the management of highly complex lesions. Held over 2 days at the Montevergine Hospital in Avellino, Italy, the workshops focus on clinical practice and the management of complex coronary artery lesions in ‘real’ patients.
Throughout the 2-day workshop participants will be involved in the review of the diagnostic images and the development of the strategy by which each patient will be treated. This might be percutaneous coronary intervention or referral to surgery.
The objective of these workshops is to promote best practices in complex lesions and reply to the increasing demand for further education in this area.
Participants at these meetings should have at least 2 years of experience in interventional cardiology and have personally treated at least 10 complex-lesion cases.
Ideal group size for this meeting is 10 participants.
The scheduled program is a 2-day meeting. Arrival during the evening prior to the meeting may be required depending on travel arrangements.
