Medical Writing & Publishing

Program Overview

 The objectives of this training are to help the participants publish research in peer-reviewed journals by:

  • Developing Understanding of the peer-review process;
  • Developing Understanding of what journal editors are looking for;
  • Increasing individual levels of communication skills; and Improving medical writing skills.
 

Teaching Methods

 The training on Medical Writing and Publishing is a 1-day, classroom style program, led by an authority on written communication and academic publication.

This seminar will consist of a series of interactive sessions covering a variety of topics including the following:

  • Identifying your message;
  • Identifying your audience;
  • Choosing the right publication type.

It is designed for physicians who are writing or are planning to write a medical article and who would be interested in receiving expert advice on the compilation of their article and how to increase the chances of having it published.

 

Audience

The Seminar on Medical Writing and Publishing is designed for physicians who are writing or are planning to write a medical article.

Ideal group size for this training is 8 physicians. (Max 10 - Min. 4)
